October 14 is only a week away...one week away from the new Keane album!I love them...I know they may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I find them wonderfully inspiring.
I'm a bit concerned, however, as some leaked reviews do not sound too promising. I'm hoping that along with the new style of cover art -- is it just me, or does it look like something Split Enz would have done circa 1982? -- the band haven't tossed out their known sound. I'm all for experimenting, but forcibly pushing away your fan base, that's another matter all together.
Best not to fret...in a week's time, all will be revealed.
I think some of their songs are good, but I can't get into them for some reason! Maybe it's his little lips. That sounds horrible, but...there it is. My own stupid comment. My husband, whose musical taste I sometimes and usually listen to, said the new album isn't all that. I will, however, listen to it and give it a fair shake!
