Some things are definitely worth the wait! After seven Golden Globe nominations, and seemingly *always* being the runner-up, Kate Winslet finally won...not one, but TWO! Yes, our fave Kate won both the supporting actress award for 'The Reader', and the leading lady nod for 'Revolutionary Road' last night. Kate should have won ages ago -- she's really one of the most stellar actors of our age, and after watching other less worthy people winning awards year after year, it's certainly refreshing to see the good ol' gal from Reading, England get her day -- and then some!Let's hope the Hollywood Foreign Press have just taught the other award voting types in Tinseltown (yes, I'm staring steely eyed at YOU, Academy Award voters!!) to chose the RIGHT leading lady when their golden gods are handed out in a few weeks time! LOVE YA, KATE!!
Oh...and BTW....*loved* her 2nd acceptance speech. Trying to recall all her fellow nominees...she named them all but forgot Angelina Jolie, uttering something like, 'who's the other one?' BWAH HAHAHAHA! Burst your bubble, over-rated baby mama! Of course, Kate is a sweetie and it was an honest mistake, but still...can I believe for awhile that it wasn't?

She looked beautiful last night. Doesn't she seem like she'd be a great person to have as a friend? I love to see her with Leo! I need to go see Revolutionary Road.
