RATE IT! Strawberry Switchblade
Here's another fave from the 80's, Strawberry Switchblade. From Scotland with love...and polka dots! Their first hit is here for your enjoyment; from their 1985 album release, here's 'Since Yesterday.' Pretty!
Strawberry Switchblade had this unique gothy, yet colourful flowers 'n' polka dot ribbons get-up. It was their *thang* so to speak.
In the 80s, it was key to have your own look in the pop world and yep, SS sure did! I actually have a friend in the UK who dressed just like them back then. Identical.
But what does polka dots have to do with the song? I guess its pretty but I don't get it....
