HATE IT! FIFA Soccer Rankings

Oh dear...the absence of England in the Euro Cup championships this summer has resulted in a dive in the country rankings. England is now listed as the 15th "best" team in the world, falling out of the Top 10. Yikes!!

Spain received more kudos as they grasped the #1 slot following their triumph at the Euro last week. Looks like they've been recognized for their stellar efforts as well as their steamy factor. Just the way we like 'em.

Filed under 'not surprising footie news', Canada -- such a massive soccer world power -- is sitting pretty in 77th place. Yes, you read that correctly -- 77th spot. And to think that there are *still* soccer pundits out there who wonder why, oh why...would Owen Hargreaves choose to play internationally for England instead of Canada!

Ah Lamps and Owen sweating together. Nice Sunday afternoon thoughts as I prepare for nap time. . . . Thanks LTG!

I'm suprised we're that high really. I'm really hoping Capello can turn thing's around pretty sharpish.

I love training picture's though. It's getting me excited for the season almost starting again. Not long now!!!
